2024 Recap

As the year comes to an end, and I gear up for a break from posting on the website and on social media (the algorithms favor active accounts that post consistently, but sometimes a human just needs to take a break), I’m recapping my 2024 activities and resources.

Some professional highlights this year include presenting webinars for the University of Chicago’s certificate community, presenting at the spring in-person conference for HIMSS (and expanding my speaking engagements to include the health IT industry), and being invited to present a session at ACES VCON24 (it was amazing to be part of such a fun event and present alongside some of the rock stars from the editing world!).

Most importantly, I had a blast meeting up with my presentation partner, Emily Redington, in Chicago, Denver, and Santa Fe. And I’m grateful she was always up for a practice session over Zoom (pro tip: practice, practice, practice!).

I’m looking forward to seeing where 2025 takes me!
