Spring Speaking Engagement
I was honored to be an invited speaker at the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society – Greater Illinois Chapter’s Spring Innovation Conference. During my session, I shared exercises and tools to help define a personal brand, as well as information on the latest LinkedIn algorithm changes, so professionals can successfully leverage the platform to build their personal brands.
This session was tailored for professionals in the healthcare information field, but everyone can benefit from learning about these important LinkedIn changes. So here are a few of the latest changes:
Hashtags are becoming less important on LinkedIn as the platform is relying on content discovery through system matching and AI.
LinkedIn is promoting posts that are insightful and in-depth (i.e., share knowledge and expertise).
An expanded newsletter product will be arriving later this year.
